Other detox programs might need a more focused medical attention.

It would be helpful if you lighten on your toxin load before starting to detox your body – eliminate alcohol, coffee, cigarettes, refined sugars and saturated fats.   • People who undergo body detox claim of an increase in their energy level. This is due to the reduction of toxins in the body which lessens the workload of our body detox system.
Negative Side Effects:
  • Depending on the detox program you have chosen, it is possible that you will experience some of these side effects: headaches, mood swings, loss of appetite, sore muscles, increased urination and diarrhea.
  • Because of the physical side effects mentioned above, it can also alter your daily activities as a result. Some people who undergo body detox may feel cranky and controlling your emotions can be difficult but not impossible.
It is important to keep in mind that during a detox program, you will need a huge amount of self control to overcome this period of strong craving. In order for your body detox to become effective, you need to wait it out – control your hunger and limit your social activities. Your body might feel weak during this time, but don’t worry because it is reserving it energy for important internal functions, but it will soon replenish itself.
